The devastation in Haiti is heartbreaking. It puts to shame any of our concerns about the economy, health care reform or any other political discourse occurring in this country.
It is encouraging to see how quickly we, as a nation, responded to the needs of the Haitian. Money, supplies and services were mobilized overnight. Unfortunately, the infrastructure in Haiti and the breakdowns in diplomacy kept this outpouring of love and support from reaching these people. As a result, the devastation has been unimagineable.
We’ve been looking for a way to effectively support the Haitians. Since it is the month of love, we decided to extend the love to Yele.org by offering $1 for every client we see between January 19th to February 14th at either our Beverly Location or Broadway Location. The more clients we see the more we can donate.
