I wonder why the summer can’t give us a small break when it comes to our hair. During the Fourth of July weekend is when I realized that my hair starts getting lighter in certain areas and it loses it’s shine due to the salt water. Trust me surfers, as a surfer girl myself, I know the feeling.

Even if I am a hairstylist my hair definitely starts taking  a beating right about this month! But I have amazing news and trust me it works! For the past three summers I have been using Gelee Aqua-Proof by Kerastase and I absolutely love it and live by it during the summer.

It is an actual wet resistant sunblock for the hair that contains UVB filters to protect hair against the drying effects of the sun, salt water and pool water. All you need to do is put a quarter size of it on showered damp hair and you are set to go.
