I was born and raised in the "Real OC" by my mother. Watching her push threw all of the challenges that come with being a single mother taught me to strive to be my best and to follow my dreams whatever they may be. Immediately after graduating high school, I started my education in beautiful Huntington Beach where I studied pivot point cutting. I not only took the cosmetology course but also the esthetician course to help widen my knowledge of the beauty industry. After searching high and low for a salon that offered an assisting program that fit my style and personality near my home I came to the conclusion that my dreams were too big for a smaller city. I expanded my search 50 miles north of my home. Los Angeles was screaming my name and I could not ignore the call any longer! Before I knew it I was on my first interview here at Studio DNA, this felt right. Studio DNA is a place where we are encouraged to expand and grow using anything and everything as inspiration. Studio DNA has placed so many opportunities in front of me and opened my eyes to things I had only dreamed about. Being a stylist, I plan on continuing my education and knowledge of everything and anything that involves beauty, fashion, and glamour. I am looking forward to working with all types and textures of hair and mastering all challenges that come my way. After all adversity is life’s greatest teacher.
